the search for the stout to end all stouts

oh, yes. i said i'd share my latest favorite stout. not the best i've ever had (that is the New Glarus Coffee Stout), but i'm enamored with the cool bottle. it is st. peter's cream stout. here is the look, which you can see is cool.

but i also like the fact that it has fuggles and challenger hops --not that i know what they are. it does have a sharpness that i like in a stout--full, yes, but with a bit of edge. guinness is so wimpy--no fullness, no edge.
