Why does this make me sad? Oh, let me count the ways . . .
I'm a disciple, husband, father, friend, teacher, seeker of justice and joy, abundant life for all
I do hope that your tree will end its life in a recycling pile. At least becoming fertile soil for gardens is an honorable end.

I noted that yesterday was the feast of Saint Knute, the 20th day of Christmas, when trees in Scandinavia are typically taken out. Or as they say, "comes the day of good saint Knute, it's time to throw your Christmas out."
Sorry...it rhymes in Norwegian!
I get less sad here, as the tree just goes into a box until next year...
peace,
Peter

wait till you get to be about 65 or 70 years old and you won't be so sad, ha. You can decorate it for the birds now and that is fun to look at through Jan and Feb and into March? Vicki
